Description:

An Open House was held for high school students and teachers on December 2, 2011. Faculty were available to talk to students about interesting research going on at the University of Memphis. For example, a demonstration was given of wireless sensor networks being used in the health industry (AutoSense Project). Participants were also able to attend a Lego Robotics Workshop. Finally, everyone joined for a pizza lunch where a presentation on majoring in computer science was given.
