Fionnghuala “Fig” O’Reilly

Fig creates models using data collected from satellites in outer space to help learn about and solve problems on Earth. Computer science is transforming space exploration!

ABOUT HER WORK

Fionnghuala, who often goes by "Fig," is an actress, model, and engineer. Fig signed her first model contract at 19 with an agency in Milan, Italy and has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University, which she has used to become a NASA Datanaut and regional director of NASA's Space Apps Challenge in Washington, DC.
