ABOUT HER WORK
Rumman has said, “When I think of AI or data science, I literally think of it as information about people meant to understand trends in human behavior.” It can be difficult to understand how AI makes the decisions it does. This is where the Fairness Tool comes in. It can help businesses understand where the data they are collecting may be biased and give suggestions on how to fix that.
