See More Heroes

We released a set of #CSforGood posters and related resources for CSEdWeek 2019. We have refreshed these posters for this year's social justice theme.

How to Use these Resources

Are you wondering how to use these posters and resources in your classroom? We've got you covered!

Quick Implementation

Introduce one or two people each day during CSEdWeek by highlighting a poster and watching short videos. This is a great entry (do now) task. See videos and discussion questions on each hero’s resource page.

Create Project to Profile a Hero

First, introduce what social justice means. Have students explore several #CSforSocialJustice heroes and choose one to research in greater depth. Then, challenge them to create a project to represent this person and her work. Students can use one of several Hour of Code tutorials to guide their projects.

Create Your Own

Do you have a #CSforSocial Justice hero who we haven't showcased? Create your own posters! Use this template to allow for students to research and create their own posters! We'd love to see them! Share them on social media, tag the CSEdWeek social media channels, and use #CSforSocialJustice.
